My son went through a lot of medical things within the first 6 mo's of his life, so for some reason, Naoh's Ark had been a running theme for his first year. My husband did not want the traditional waves, so we went with grass instead (post landing).
Actually, the animals were part of a kit (they were whistles the kids played with at the party) although, I suppose something similar could be done (very carefully) with colorflow.
Josh is perfect now, I airbrushed the sky and rainbow, and I used tip 12 on the clouds (it was a 1/2 sheet cake). Wow! I did all that in once sentence. Sorry.
wow this is a really great cake, did you purchase the kit for the animals from a bakery or party store? i've found that it's os much esier to use kits especially for last minute cake ideas
