First Communion

First Communion cake for my friends daughter. It is a Lemon cake with bc. It didn't come out quite how I had it pictured in my head....do they ever?! The roses are holding up the girl on top. She wouldn't stand unless she was knee-deep in cake! Whatever works! The cross is white choc. with pearl luster dust.

Thanks. The cake sizes are 12" and 6". The 6" is only one layer. I just wanted to raise the girl a little.

I think this cake is beautiful and am thinking of using it for my daughter's 1st Communion this May. I love it! I will be using purples because that his her favorite color! Did you just get a mold for the cross and use the wilton candy discs? I make candy and never thought to use the melting chocolates. GREAT idea!
