This is my first attempt at a two-layer cake (besides Wilton Class, almost 10 years ago-LOL!). Made for my friend's bridal shower - theme is daisies. 12" chocolate base layer, with chocolate Wilton soccer ball cake on top. Thanks for looking :)
Mrsa143, I think it was an open star tip, maybe 32 (?) I piped the stars in white and pushed the centers down with a fingertip in cornstarch, then added #2 yellow centers. Hope that helps :)
Thanks JulieBugg! Believe me, my writing is NOT smooth! Took a couple of practice runs before putting the tip on the cake-Did a tranfer with a toothpick, then piped it with #1 tip, and went over it again with star. Took a while but I think it came out OK.
