Beach Baby Shower

Oh my was this one hard!! Was told they wanted a baby shower cake w/a beach theme w/shells....but nothing 'too cute or babyish'. So this was trouble from the beginning!! This is one of the cakes my dog ate...so had to bake again at the last minute. Then my printer broke, so I couldn't do edible images around the side....and trying to figure out how to do those things in fondant was difficult!!! Then my son got a hold of the bows on the day I was suppose to deliver...so had to fix them in 3hrs!! arrgh!

Despite all the mishaps I had at home w/dogs, child, and electronics....I think the hardest part was trying to figure out how to do a baby shower cake w/o being too cute or babyish! :?
