All Fondant and Gumpaste, needle royal icing, good and pleanty for the pills. I copied from alot of different medical pics on CC. This was so much fun! It's for my surgeon!
Thank you all for your comments!! I learned everything from CC!!!!! I used three 9x13 cakes and carved the cake 12 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep then it tapers at the top to 2 1/2 inches. I iced it with buttercream and then let it sit for about 6 hours then I put the fondant on it. Since the cake was frozen I wanted to make sure it was completely thawed before I put the fondant on for fear of bubbles. I'm so happy with it, and it was actually very easy to do. I made all the tools a week ago.
Thank you!!! My surgeon LOVED it!!! He wouldnt cut it in the office he took it home to show his wife and kids and they arent cutting it till today, I just hope it will be okay after 4 days!!!!!
Love this cake. I can already tell you, since my regular job is in the medical field, I will be using your wonderful ideas. Thanks a lot for the inspiration!
