Lavender Field's Painting
Another one of my buttercream paintings. Inspired by some pictures of lavender fields I saw at the art festival in Ft Worth. I was in the mood to paint and I needed to try out a new caramel cake recipe. It is now my favorite painting. I may have to paint this one with acrylics.

This is fantastic talmas!!! Man it would be so fun to get together and paint something amazing!!!!! If you ever get the chance, pm me with the details about how you paint "with" buttercream. I've painted "on" it and a little "with" it but never a whole cake top! Outstanding!!!! elly=o)
WOW is right....WHat do you use to paint? Food coloring or your BC color gels?

*speechless* ...that is breathtaking... how do you paint with buttercream?do you start with a palette of colored buttercream? what color do you frost your cakes initially? it's so beautiful

HOLY COW! 8O This is super impressive! My husband is going to be so excited when I show him this...he is an artist and he would LOVE to see someone else doing this on cakes! Amazing!
