i love all teh bees, and those little daisies, are those royal then put on wire?
The daisies are fondant. I cut them out and then slide the wire underneath them so the fondant would dry around them.
Great Cake!!!! How did you get the bees to stay on the wire. I did a baby shower cake recently on the theme, "Bird & the Bees" and did a bee hive with bees made out of fondant. But, I couldn't get the bees to stay on the wire.
The wire is actually punched through the bees after they were completely dry. If I would have thought about it at the time, I would have put some royal icing where the bee meets the wire to help keep them on.
