Silver Dusted Cake

Silver Dusted Cake on Cake Central

It's a little hard to see the silver dust on this cake, but in person it was gorgeous! Probably one of my favorite cakes! We dusted the roses with the silver too, and it totally made the cake! Very easy to create!

I used luster dust w/ everclear. I've read that you could use your airbrush to spray the dust, but I don't have one. So I got a spray bottle from the strore and mixed up the dust w/ everclear and sprayed it on. You want some spots to be thicker than others. Then once it dries and the buttercream has a crust to it, I lightly dusted the cake with dry dust on a brush. This is probably one of the easiest cakes I've done.
