How did you do that picture?

I hand draw first and then fill in. I was an art major.....so it helps. Still you can do a trace method using coloring pages, etc.

So do you use a star tip to fill it in? or do you use tip #3 and fill it in that way?

Yes, sometimes I use like a #16 or #15 star tip to fill in....and then in some areas I will use like a #4 tip to fill in areas. Depends on the design. Like hair, etc....always use a writing tip. Then I do all the outline with the #3.
