Thanks everyone. No, mariamom, I have a kopykake projector which makes transferring images very easy. Otherwise I'd have to use the pin prick method as I wouldn't even attempt to freehand.

I wanna kopycake projector! :cry: Maybe I can talk my kids into one for mother's day! :roll:

They really do come in handy. You can transfer images other ways (but more time consuming) but if you do lots of cakes it's a great thing to have.
