First "mad Hatter" Cake

First "mad Hatter" Cake on Cake Central

This was my first attempt (and maybe my last!) at a "Mad Hatter" or "Topsy Turvy" cake. I charged $3 a serving, but will charge more like $4 or $5 per serving if I ever try it again! Tiers are 10, 8 and 6 inch. They were covered in buttercream and fondant. Accents, flowers, leaves, and bumblebee are all fondant.

Not a big topsy-turvy fan but I must say this one is really cute. Love the colors and the diffences in the tiers and the bumblebee is adorable. You're hard work paid off - nice job

Aw, thank you guys! It feels so good to hear that...especially for a cake that took me as long as this one did!!

That's a darling cake. I've recently been looking at a lot of cakes for ideas and yours has a lot of original decorations compared to the other. Very nicely done.
