I wanted to try Hockeymom's method of lettering. (Piping over an edible image.) It's definitely an improvement for me...but I need lots more practice. I decided toapply the same technique to the main image. There are times I want something more organic looking than a printed image. This works, I think. It's easier and quicker than an FBCT, and you can build up areas, making it sculptural.

Very cute cake. I love the idea of applying the image and then covering with icing to look like FBCT. The writing looks awsome too.
