Is the fence made of royal icing? I absolutely love the bats in the tree.

That is so great! How did you attach the bats?
The fence is made of royal icing, the fence posts are fondant, and the tree is gumpaste (wrapped around a wire skeleton). The bats are attached to the tree with wire as well, and they would actually swing! The cake is covered in marshmallow fondant. My boyfriend and I worked on it together- we had a lot of fun!
