I did this cake for Easter with my husband's family and for our niece's an my father-in-laws birthdays. It was the first time I've ever used a novelty pan or covered a cake in stars. Everything is fake - the cake was a Devilsfood mix, the Bavarian Cream filling was out of a plastic tube, and icing was Wilton Buttercream out of a five-pound bucket at Hobby Lobby.
