Duo Color Hearts
Heart shaped cakes decorated with half of each tier decorated in white, and the other in purple. At the reception, a fountain was placed below the bottom tier. A problem I ran into was what flowers to use to keep a balance. I finally gave up and used pearls overflowing a china bowl.
Very pretty cake, I can't quite make out what are on the columns. Love the color duo!
The columns are inverted scrolls. They were in my grandmother's decorating kit and she died 5 years ago at the age of 87. I have no idea how old they are. I didn't use these at the reception.
