Your castle is fabulous!!! ;-D The details are incredible - it must have taken you FOREVER to make! Great job, I'm sure that the birthday girl loved it!
Oh, Wow!! this cake is out of this world. I've been looking for a design for a castle wedding cake for next year and this is just what I've been looking for. Would you please share with me what you used to make size of the towers? johnsonmb@msn.com
This has to be the best looking caslte cake I have ever seen!!!! It's absolutely goreous! I love the doors, the moat around it, the 'brick' look to the fondant, the colors, and everything!!!
OMG!!! That looks just like the castle from Walt Disney World!!! You are amazing!! What did you use for the towers ?? Please...Stunning cake!!! Right into my fav's for sure!!
Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I used the cardboard roll from cake board cover or you can use paper towel rolls. Cover them with wax paper, roll out fondant/gumpaste about 1/4" and impressed with brick mat. Wrap around covered roll and let sit overnight, slide off roll and remove wax paper from center to finish drying. Tops are sugar cones covered with fondant.
