My First Wedding Cake!

This is my first wedding cake. It's buttercream frosting with royal icing flowers. I've been making cakes since I was 12 (don't ask HOW long that was!) and I always turn down weddings, this wasn't TOO bad for my first attempt!

Thanks all! No the string work is in buttercream, just the flowers were royal. I wilsh I knew an easier way to do the crown border, it took many tries. Thanks for the support though!! :-)

Ummm....that is the best crown border I've ever seen, not to mention all of the other great details!!!!!!!!! Maybe you shouldn't turn down wedding cakes...this is GREAT!! :D

Wow, that's very impressive; I especially like your borders and the gorgeous flowers!!!! I think you should reconsider the wedding cake thing - you could make many brides VERY happy!
