Mini Easter Cakes

Because I have been so inspired by all of the wonderful cake decorators....my daughter and I gave decorating the mini cakes a try. We had a great time together....even though they might not look professional! We covered them with mmf...and then used buttercream.

Very pretty cakes! My 17 year old and I are just getting into decorating together, taking classes together. Isn't it fun?

thanks barbara-ann and crisseyann..... and yes it is fun.....my daughter is 24 (she did the smiley face!) and married....and she really didn't want to do it....and ended up having a great time!!!

These look really cute. My girls would have loved doing these (they are 3 and 5). Where did you get the pans from?

They are all very pretty. I'm sure it was all the more special that your daughter shared the activity with you.
