Easter Egg Green
This was my 2nd Easter Egg that I did for my family. I had a lot of green frosting left-over from another cake....... so I was already part-way done before I started thinking "oh no! rotten egg!" What do you think, and be honest - it looks like a rotten egg, right? LOL... I just went with it, since it was for my own family & they just like to eat the cake anyway =)
Well, that was one little mistake - the blue is supposed to to be flowers, but I forgot to add their white centers... also, the white "blobs" mixed-in are supposed to be leaves, but they didn't turn out so great. You can kind of see the one on the left. That top section is a mess because of these items, but it did look a little better in person. Thanks for the "moss/spring" comments, I think you're right & thank you! =)
I didn't think rotten at all - it looks mossy and springlike. Is the blue on top a design? I think it looks very nice!
What amazes me about this is the basketweave work you did. It's really clean and must've taken awhile. I like it!
