1St Cake
This was my very first decorated cake. I saw it in a magazine during christmas '05. It turned out awful. The icing was discusting and was way too thin. I thought Id post it anyways to see my progress.

Everyone has to start somewhere. This looks cute to me.
I made the same cake (from Family Fun magazine, right?) and it was horrible - I tried it twice, and it didn't get any better the second time around. Yours is a thousand times better than mine. I had to post, though, because we used the same tree topper - the candy bananas!! I was so fed up I rammed the bananas on top like a star and called it quits. I looked at your other cakes, and you are doing great!!!
