My First Cake
This is my first cake-- no class, just read some books, consulted cc and jumped in. The picture is taken from the side (the front looks better because the top is off-center), and someone bumped it but I'm still proud. It is a chocolate cake, dark chocolate ganache filling, and chocolate IMBC with creme de cacao liqueur. The flavors worked well, not too sweet and very chocolate.

The roses are modeling chocolate -- I used the recipe and directions in the Cake Bible. They are easy to make but it was too hard for me to make them all look the same.
