Camoflauge Groom's Cake

Camoflauge Groom's Cake on Cake Central

This is a groom's cake for an avid hunter. I piped the pattern and filled in using a large tip, then pressed flat with a paper towel & fondant smoother. I used a leaf tip for the border. Father of the groom painted the groom's tux camo on the cake topper...too cute!

This is a really great cake design and I am v impressed with the aiming thingy - how did you get that so accurate?

thank you! my hubby is a big hunter, so he drew the sights for me, just to show me how they're supposed to look. I then used the rim of a glass bowl to make an imprint in the icing to get a perfect circle and traced with icing... I cut cake boards into strips of the length I needed and pressed the edges crossways into the circle & traced with icing
