Here is my first sheet cake I made for my brothers 2nd wedding reception. Didn't even realize until 4 or 5 days later that I spelled congratulations wrong. Thankfully nobody noticed except my Dad, or at least they didn't say anything.

Your lettering is still lovely. You were just congratulating them with an accent.
The cake is lovely. I'm sure nobody would say anything to hurt your feelings about a simple mistake in spelling. Let him who has never made a mistake throw the first stone.

I actually do all of my lettering with a printer then trace it with gel backwards and imprint the cake, which makes it even worse that I didn't notice the spelling.
It could have been worse, you could have spelt one of their names wrong :wink:

i never saw a wedding sheet cake, but i love this one. and i had to read it twice to see that you spelled congratulations wrong. i think this is a lovely cake not overdone and still nice.
