Great water! What did you use for sand?

Thank you all for the nice comments, I was feeling kind of down about the outcome...for the sand, I just used vanilla wafers...I put them in a coffee grinder to make them really fine....Happy Easter to you too Phoov...!!!

This is absolutely beautiful!! I am fairly new to this site but this is great! If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the cross and the footprints?

Thank you....the crosses were made using the technique for the gelatin flowers...and the footprints...I have a footprint candy mold and I molded some fonfant in it...I froze them and then just pressed them down on the cake to make the imprints...bushed with corn syrup and sprinkled some raw sugar on it....
