This was a fun cake to do - It was made from one large round cake and then cut in half and turned so the curved sides were back to back and then a notch was cut from each side and used to make the body of the butterfly. It's all made with buttercream and little glitter flakes. Then I went a step further and made some smaller butterflies from fondant for the extra cupcakes.
