I love this cake. My daughter is graduating in May and if it is OK I might borrow some of your ideas. I was wondering what size your layers were?

This is such a beautiful cake!! Can I ask how big the base and top of the cap are? I have to make a cap and that looks like it's just the right size for a 6 inch cake. Also, did you wrap the fondant around something for the base? Sorry for all the questions, but I had to ask because it's perfect! :-)

I cut the strip with like 2.5" wide and wrap around Magic Line Cheese cake Ring 3" in diameter and let it dry over night and for the top cut square with 5x5 " also let it dry and then after really dry attach the ring to the square part and glue it with royal icing. Hope this info will help, further questions pls feel free to email me at estercakes@sbcglobal.net
