Cake Balls
I made my second batch of cake balls today. They are chocolate cake w/ cherry extract. Some in powdered sugar, some covered w/ chocolate, the rest plain. I took them up to my friends job for the customers to sample. Her boss always has a dome of cookies out so I thought these would be a great exposure tool.
OMG these look soooo good. i want the chocolate dipped ones. hope they generate alot of business for you.
She is going to ask her bosses if I keep them stocked in cake balls, for free, if they will let me leave my business cards there with them. Her bosses wiffe used to make cakes herself so I told her to let her taste them first and see if she approves of them. I made more this afternoon. Choc/cake/rasperry extract. Yellow cake/anise extract. choc cake/banana extract. So far they've been a hit.Even my youngest son-who never tries anything new-tried the banana ones and liked them, and he doesn't like banan...
just be careful to define what "keep them stocked" entails... you don't want to end up doing hundreds of these for free, just to leave your business cards somewhere!
