Pucci
This is my version of flourgrl's Pucci cake. The customer sent me a photo of the cake and wanted a very similar replica, so thanks to flourgrl for her design and inspiration! Fondant covered cake, all freehanded and hand painted. The photo is dark because it was 3am, and I realized afterwards that I hadn't put the middle border on yet! Oops!

Thank You!!! Mydelights, I tried to use regular Wilton gel colors but they're water based and the fondant is oil, so the paint beaded up. I finally found that the Wilton candy coloring worked well because it's oil based so I used that. I used it straight out of the jar then also mixed them with the white-white icing whitener to make different shades.
