I made this creation for 2 friends who shared birthdays close to one another. They loved Hawaii, and one of their friends threw a Hawaiian-themed party for them. I came up with the idea to see if I could make a cake out of cupcakes because it was something different. The shells are candy molds, the icing is buttercream, and the "sand" is graham cracker crumbs. Everyone loved it.
