What are you kidding me!?!? Covered in MMF!!! I am so jealous! I can't even cover a large cake in MMF without pulling my hair out! These are wonderful!
thanks I never thought of using mmf. I tryed poured fondant, and candy melts wasn't happy with either one of those methods I will tyr your way once more thanks
Thanks for the nice comments. I just covered them like you would a cake with MMF. I cut a small piece out with the cutters I used for the petit fours for the bottom and then covered as normal. I thought it would be really time consuming and tedious, but they actually went pretty quick and were much less clean up then the poured fondant. I still prefer the poured fondant for taste, but thoght these were pretty dang cute. They taste good too, if you like MMF, I personally love it, but my DH doesn't.
MMF is Marshmallow fondant, you can find the recipe on this site. Poured fondant is not really fondnt at all but more like a glaze. There is probably a recipe on this site, although I am not sure. I use the recipe out of a wilton decorating book, you might be able to find it on Wiltons website. If not feel free to PM me and I will send it to you.
