This is how I made the jungle leaves on my safari jungle cake. I really wanted to get that deeply serrated leaf that always looks so 'jungly' to me. I don't have a cutter (if one actually exists) so I came up with this idea. The coke can was really easy to cut and not as dangerous as you would think - I am quite a clumsy person and I didn't come even close to cutting myself (please be careful though) I just folded the metal into a petal shape and used that to cut into the sides of either a leaf or heart shape. You might think you could do this with a daisy cutter but no, I'm here to say that doesn't work. :-) Please excuse the crummy photo but I think it still gets the idea across.
