100 days of cake: I received this message a few days ago: The letter: Hiii. Wanted to ask My fiance is coming next week so wanted to cut our first cake together. I am meeting him first time now since i saw him in december for 10mins for wedding proposal. Arranged marriage rules. ______________________________ My Thoughts: What a special occasion- Having grown up in a Western culture, I never understood the concept of arranged marriages and we were lead to believe it was more "forced" which is REALLY NOT THE CASE!Living in UAE, over the past 7 years i have seen many couples take the traditional route of arranged marriages and they are so happy. Of course not all work out, but then again not all "free choice" marriages work either. Success in marriage does not come merely through finding the right mate, but through being the right mate.The greatest marriages are built on teamwork.
