In: Gilded Monogrammed cake in album: Bridal Shower
A larger copy of this photo!! This is the monogrammed bridal shower cake I did a couple of weeks ago. The monogram was colorflowed over monotype corsiva font and gilded with lustre dust and confectioners glaze. The roses are white buttercream drydusted with gold lustre dust to highlight the bride's colors of yellow and green. Cake was zesty lemon to complete the thought, and was so heavy we had to build a special carrier for it!! (Thank God for handyman hubbies!!)

yes, and as you can see I ran out of cake board!! The cake was 2 12 x 18s with an 8 inch heart on top. The bottom layer, with filling and buttercream was at least 5 inches tall!!
