Birthday cake for a dear friend who is a Formula 1 fanatic. I used the Paul Bradford tutorial which was very useful and spent many hours refining scaled templates. Then my DH stepped in who also loves F1, took the knife from me and refined my carving. This turned out to be a real team effort as he ended up piecing the component parts together e.g wheels, rear wing, front wing, spraying it and even adding the white trim. We were very happy with the end result and so was our friend. Loads of left over cake though from the carving!!
