A Yoda as requested for an 8th birthday. I didn't have a pan for the shape, so cut an oval shape and two "ears" from a 9x13 french vanilla cake. I had filled it with vanilla buttercream before shaping. The texture was done with buttercream, all layered up on itself to "build" his face. Not the best in perspective, but it's my first try at this type of thing. Next time (?!?!) I'll ice the base of the cake thicker with green then add texture.
