My Three Fish Cake
Not as cute as many of the other fishy cakes posted here. Lots of lessons learned on this cake, like CRUSH your krispies to get a smooth texture. Also, for some reason my teal coloring was glopy and ended up not mixing well with the buttercream so the end result was a spotted icing. By the time I got to the edges I was pooped and just piped on some coral (the royal was not stiff enough and ran). Anyway, not every cake is a masterpiece! Buttercream, with krispy treats covered in MMF, royal coral.
great job, I like the colors as well.
PS - If you can't read the sign it says "Happy Birthday to my three fish". This was for my husband, daughter and son. All have March birthdays (peices). :wink:

Thanks so much. The bubbles were printed off my computer, cut out, covered with contact paper and attached to a skewer.
