Paris Themed Birthday on Cake Central

Fondant with gum paste bow and ribbon roses. Eiffel tower is royal icing piped on gum paste. Faux bling was used on the base of the top and bottom tier.

I cannot tell you how I wish I were this good!!! This cake is AWESOME!! Did you free form the royal icing on the gum paste tower? How did you get the actual shape of the tower? Also, how did you get it to stand up like that? Thanks!! So awesome!!

 Thank you, that is so kind of you to say.  This was has been one of my favorite cakes to make:)  For the piping on the eiffel tower, I found a clip art online to refer to and free-hand piped it onto the gum paste shape.   For the shape of the tower... I sketched it on paper, cut it out and used it as a pattern to cut out the gum paste with a craft knife.  There are 2 wooden skewers attached onto the back to make it stand - I wrap the part of the skewer that will be (showing) attached to topper with same color gum paste and stick it on with a little gum paste "glue" or royal icing.  I hope that makes sense - let me know if you have more questions.  I am always happy to answer.
