Year of the horse 2014. I wanted to do something new for the new year. And it just happen to see this on the site and I just decided to go for it. really just used what I had at home. I didn't have to bake this, I used dummies. I used cutters by Not just cakes by Annie, that I have been dying to use and incorporate it to give it a little hint of fish scales that I saw on the inspiration board on pinterest. I made swirls from gumpaste for the topper. The Chinese letter on the top is the Chinese symbol of the Horse. I used gold highlight to paint on stencil. And for the bottom tier I used a homemade mold of a flower and leaves, also wanted to incorporate straight golden lines in the design. I had a lot of fun making this just for fun. :)
