My first gender reveal cake. The colors were turquoise for a boy and gold for a girl. I had previously made this cake for Cake Central Magazine, but that was a dummy cake. This one is made of sponge cake and is filled with dark chocolate cream and coconut cream, which I colored yellow for a girl. The cake was the centerpiece of a party that the expectant parents had organized to find out the gender of their baby, together with family and friends.
