Chalk Board
This cake was made for my cousin who is a 4th grade teacher. I'm not too pleased with the way the cake turned out. I made the green icing too thin so I added more powdered sugar to make it thicker...I should have used the mixer but I was in a hurry so I stirred it by hand. The next morning when I looked at the cake it had white spots where the sugar had small lumps in it. I was devastated. My cousin told me she thought I had added to white spots on purpose because her chalkboard in her class has spots.
I think this also looks great but do you know exactly what causes the spots? I have had this also happen to me a time or two?
