Beehive Anniversary Cake
This was for my parents anniversary. They are in the honey business so I thought they would appreciate the hommage to their profession. I had fun making it and they really liked it.

Thank you so much for the great feedback. I got the idea from my Debbie Brown Cake book except she does it with fondant. I piped it with only the coupler you put the tip into. I used a size 18 parchment bag--I don't know if that makes a difference.You can fit a lot more into the bag and keep the line going. I put the cake on my turntable and moved it as I went along. The reason it looks so "rustic" is because I didn't make enough icing and had to get creative ; o P
