The first of my two Christmas cakes for family dinners this year. This one is for tonight’s Christmas Eve dinner with my parents. Will upload my other one after we have that dinner tomorrow, Christmas Day. This one is using my newly acquired Marvelous Mold Damask on-lay. I did it just on a ganached cake but I was having problems with my ganache being too soft =( so it was not going my way! Almost gave up but just kept plodding along. The side that you see is the only good part of the pattern lol. At least there is a part that looked good enough to share!
