This is my entry for the san diego cake show that is going to be this weekend. What do you think?, the frame is also edible. Not finished yet, this is a preview.

My mouth dropped when i realized it was edible! I thought it was a picture. Amazing! If you don't win best of show then they need new judges.

Awesome artwork! You must do some fabulous oil on canvas as well as cocoa on frosting! You are so blessed to be able to do this type of art, especially on a cake! W O W ! ! ! S T U N N I N G ! ! !

Wooooooooww!!!, thank you, thank you all of you!!!!, I just read all your comments and ok!!!... I am crying now, you guys are amazing and very kind, i feel really special now. About your questions, yes!, it all is edible, I made the picture over pastillaje and the frame is pastillaje and gum paste, I painted everything using cocoa and brown food colorin, I will try to make a tutorial with something simpler than this like a flower, so you can get the idea of the technique, ok?

Thank you, thank you guys, you make me feel incredible!!! About the "cake", sorry but it isn't, This painting is made over a pastillaje rectangle that I cutted. The picture is going to be in the contest by itself, not over a cake, sorry if I disapointed you!!!, of course it could be done in a cake but this wasn't the case. By the way the size of the picture is 8 x 10.

This is incredible. I called my husband in from the living room to see it. He wasn't too eager to leave the football game, but really liked the painting. To get a football fan's approval should really make you feel good. Amazing. You should be so proud!!

Oh my - simply amazing! Can't believe this is cocoa painting, so realistic. Love the frame, can I assume it is fondant or is it chocolate clay? Just beautiful, can't wait to see the finished picture - best of luck! I see a 1st place in your future.
