Bird Cage With Roses And Piping

This cake was made for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I made a few changes to the original picture which was given to me by my client - I don't know who the original cake decorator was. The bottom tier was vanilla with caramel filling and the second tier was chocolate with ganache filling. The top two tiers were dummies. The cake was covered in fondant and the piping was done in royal icing. Gumpaste roses and small flowers adorn the sides of the cake.
