I really love your baby cake topper.  It is absolutely beautiful!  I have to make one for my daughter who is expecting in April.  Do you mind sharing what you use to make the bottom part of the bassinet?

Hi drmoo!  Thank you for the lovely compliment!  Sure, the base of the bassinet is a styrofoam dummy cake carved into an oval shape.  Hope that helps!  Good luck!

I absolutely love this cake! Can you tell me how you did the bassinet hood? I'm assuming it's fondant and floral wire?

Absolutely stunning!!! I have 1 question, how did you make the ruffles? So in love with this cake. 

@Janiragreen...sorry about the delayed response on this....I just saw it because another member left a comment.  Yes, you are correct...it is floral wire between two sheets of fondant mixed with tylose powder.  

@Vazqquezliza76...I used a Martha Stewart lace paper puncher.
