This is my second cake based on this style, this time I put some extra cupcakes around the base. The best way to get the boys to stand up straight is to glue them to a cocktail stick using royal icing. They are very prone to flopping over otherwise, also if you use edible glue it seeps through and makes the rice paper wet.
