Had the pleasure of making this cake for my neighbors daughter. The stripes were free hand cut and them applied to cake. The funny story behind this cake is that I had first cut out the stripes and then rolled them on to the pink fondant but as I was getting ready to cover the cake the fondant completely cracked. My fondant was drying out to fast. Maybe if I had had sheeter this would not have happened. Lesson learned.
