My Nightmare
Birthday cake for grand daughters 4th. It was a 10in, 8in.,6in., Seem like everything from the design to the sat up went wrong with this cake, to much to list . It is done with BC icing and fondant balloon and ponies, toy on top of 8 and 6in. layers. Was no way like I had plan, but it did taste great! , the one thing I was happy about.
Despite the set backs it is adorable. What a lucky 4 year old
I think it is too cute! My 6 year old would love this, I bet she was happy!
I don't see a thing wrong with it. It's darling! I'm sure she loved it.
Thank you all so much for your comments. Family would agree it was a nightmare lol. My DH almost cut his finger off when cutting my rods. The bottom layer I had trouble with bulging, 8in. layer trouble with it crumbing, With the top 2 layers and balloon topper it became so top heavy we had to sat it as in the pic. in some places the boarder kept falling off, couldn't get my BC icing to smooth. This is a few of the things that went wrong lol.
This is an absolutely adorable cake. It looks great!
Thank You! cncgirl00, thanks to the wonderful C.C.er's I am feeling much better over my experience with this cake.

Congratulations - you turned a potential disaster into a really lovely presentation. Nothing to be ashamed of at all - good work.
Thank You so much Pat, for the wonderful words in your comment & also for the PM. We can't always have sweet dreams can we  but my grandbabies are worth a nightmare, now & then :)
