In community album: Round Wedding Cakes
This is a sample cake I did for an upcoming Wedding demonstration. All three cakes are styrofoam. The bottom is a medium purple, the middle is lighter, and the top is marbalized. I did a simple bead border on the bottom, a marbalized bow in the center and just a rope on the top.

Lovely! I can just see this in all sorts of other colors....pink, peach, blue, coral. Great basic design that can be adapted to many needs.

The bow was super simple. I cut out 2 4 1/2"X1" rectangles and stuffed them with toilet paper and let them dry. Then I added about a 3"X1" center piece.
