Pastel Layers In Bloom on Cake Central

This cake is a 10", 8", 6" and 3". All yellow cake with all buttercream icing. I love pastel colors and so I used cakefairy18's idea from her pastel colored squared cake she made (Thank you cakefary18 for the idea!). I love roses so I made 90 miniature roses to go around the cake in all buttercream icing, that took forever, LOL but I loved the way it turned out.

Just gorgeous! Just curious, did you pipe the roses onto a skewer or nail? I need to practice my roses now that I think about it.... :D

I just can't quit looking at this cake. I simply love pastels. This is all the colors of my wedding (14 years ago). I'd love to have this cake for my 50th. Great roses!

Very pretty! I love all the roses! How did you get them to turn out so well? Mine just flop or have broken edges. I'm assuming it's icing consistency?
